| Sino Language Gateway (SLG) is a
non-profit organization
established by American and Chinese professionals in 2003 to
promote cultural and educational exchange for young people
between China and the rest of the world. SLG dedicates to help
youth in achieving their desire of mastering Chinese in addition
of their native language, whether it is English, Spanish or
French. We recognize the importance and usefulness of the
Chinese language, and wish more people from the globe could come
and explore.
At SLG, we would like to promote an understanding and
appreciation of the Chinese language, culture, history to the
rest of the world, and to facilitate the understanding of the
Chinese heritage, tradition, art, as well as to stimulate the
self-respect and self-confidence of young overseas Chinese.

Our goal to achieve
We aim to bridge the communication gap between the western and
the eastern, to let students from the western countries master
Chinese language while explore the country, to enable them to
learn as much as possible in the time available, while at the
same time ensure that they have a thoroughly enjoyable
experience that they will want to repeat!Whether you are coming for just one week or for several months,
we want you to feel at the end of your course that you learned
far more than you had imagined possible, and that what you have
learned is not just theory, but a practical ability to
communicate in the language, to understand and to make yourself
understood.
Learning a language in the country in which it is spoken is
absolutely a far more effective and rapid process than studying
a few hours a week in your own country. It is also an
opportunity to mix with local inhabitants, come to a far deeper
and intimate knowledge of the people whose language you are
studying and gain insights into their culture.
Our way to achieve
We do everything possible to make our program solid, rewardable
and exciting. We closely coordinate with the host schools, host
families, insurance companies and government agencies in China
to ensure that the price you pay is among the lowest while the
service you get is among the best. We wish our students have an
experience that they will remember and cherish for the rest of
their lives. We sincerely invite all interested educational specialists to
join our effort to enhance the educational exchange between your
country and China. In the summer of 2007, more than 250 students and their parents
from all over the world participated in the Total Immersion
Chinese Summer Camp for Youth with Sino Language Gateway. The students' age ranged from 8 to 19. They gathered from more
than 10 countries of five continents around the world to live,
study, play and travel together in China, and explored a
different culture and lifestyle. These students experienced both
the traditions and changes that make China so distinctive and
important.
